Zhermack Tropicalgin is a normal-setting chromatic alginate impression material with a pleasant tropical mango flavor. It is developed to meet professional clinical requirements, offering easy handling, reliable accuracy, and smooth surface detail reproduction. The chromatic phase indicator helps clinicians clearly identify the mixing, working, and setting stages.

The material provides fast water absorption, easy mixing, and a homogeneous mass for smooth, compact impressions. Its thixotropic nature allows excellent flow under pressure while remaining stable in the tray. Tropicalgin also supports extended impression storage and safe disinfection when used with recommended solutions.

Directions to Use

• Transfer the powder into an airtight container and store at 5–27°C (41–80°F)
• Use the dosing spoon to measure powder into a rubber bowl and level it with a spatula
• Add 1/3 measure of water for every spoonful of powder
• Mix according to the specified mixing time until a smooth consistency is achieved
• Load the tray and place in the mouth before the end of working time
• Allow the material to set completely; chromatic phases help identify each stage
• Alghamix II is recommended for homogeneous, bubble-free mixing

Cleaning & Disinfection

• Rinse the impression immediately to remove saliva
• Drain excess water and disinfect using a suitable disinfectant as per manufacturer instructions
• Pour the impression promptly with dental stone
• If delayed, store the impression in a sealed bag at room temperature
