Metapex by Meta Biomed is a premixed root canal filling material offering excellent radiopacity and antibacterial properties. It is cost-effective, making it ideal for practices seeking quality and affordability in endodontic materials.

Indications:

• Exposed pulp in pulp capping and pulpotomy
• Leakage canal
• Apexification
• Formation of hard tissue barrier
• Root canal filling

Precautions:

• Do not fill beyond the apex
• Keep the syringe capped when not in use
• Do not reuse disposable tips
• Not for use in allergic individuals; iodoform may cause hyperesthesia
• Use rubber dam to minimize mucosal exposure
• Stop use if hypersensitivity symptoms appear (rash, dermatitis)
• Keep away from eyes; rinse immediately with water if exposed and consult a doctor
• For dental use only

Packaging:

• 2 × 2.2 g syringes
• Disposable tips
• 1 × ring for tip direction control

Directions for Use:

• Step 1: Check expiration date and inspect product for impurities or damage.
• Step 2: Clean and dry the prepared root canal.
• Step 3: Wash disposable tip with ethanol.
• Step 4: Attach disposable tip to the syringe.
• Step 5: Insert tip into root canal and slowly press the piston, observing the filling amount via the graduation gauge.
• Step 6: Slowly withdraw the syringe tip, allowing excess paste to reverse back into the pulp chamber.
• Step 7: Proceed with standard clinical procedures after filling with Metapex.
