Ivoclar Tetric N-Flow Bulk Fill Composite IVA

Ivoclar Tetric N-Flow Bulk Fill is a flowable bulk-fill composite designed to complement the mouldable Tetric N-Ceram Bulk Fill composite. It is based on the same advanced formulation and is intended for use as a bulk-fill base in Class I and Class II restorations.

The material can be light-cured in large increments of up to 4 mm with short exposure times, making restorative procedures faster and more efficient. Its excellent affinity to cavity walls and self-levelling consistency ensure optimal adaptation and handling.

A key highlight of Tetric N-Flow Bulk Fill is the innovative Aessencio technology, which reduces translucency from approximately 28% to about 10% during polymerization. This results in improved esthetics, especially in cases involving discoloured tooth structures.

Indications

• Used as an initial layer / first increment in Class I and Class II composite restorations in permanent teeth
• Restorations in deciduous teeth without a capping layer

• Monomer matrix: Monomethacrylates and dimethacrylates (28 wt%)
• Fillers: Barium glass, ytterbium trifluoride, and copolymers (71 wt%)
• Additives, initiators, stabilizers, and pigments (<1.0 wt%)
• Total inorganic filler content: 68.2 wt% / 46.4 vol%
• Particle size range: 0.1 μm – 30 μm (mean particle size: 5 μm)
