GC Fuji Gold Label Type 9 is a high-strength, radiopaque posterior glass ionomer restorative cement formulated with strontium-based glass technology. It delivers all the benefits of a true glass ionomer while offering physical properties strong enough for reliable use in posterior restorations.

This restorative cement chemically bonds to tooth structure, sets without shrinkage, and releases fluoride for long-term protection. Its excellent radiopacity, snap-set characteristics, and high wear resistance make it a preferred choice for posterior applications and pediatric dentistry.

Indications

• Class I and small Class II restorations in non-load bearing areas

How to Use

• Condition the tooth surface with GC Dentin Conditioner (10% polyacrylic acid)
• Mix and apply GC Fuji Gold Label Type 9 or Fuji IX GP Capsule into the cavity
• Form the contour and place a matrix if required during the working time
• After initial set, when the glossy appearance is lost, protect from moisture using GC Cocoa Butter, GC Fuji Varnish, or GC Fuji Coat LC
• Carry out final finishing under water spray at the recommended time from start of mix
• Apply a final protective coat of GC Fuji Varnish or GC Fuji Coat LC after finishing
