Coltene TempoSIL 2 is a temporary A-silicone cement designed to provide secure adhesion and excellent marginal integrity for provisional and temporary restorations. Its advanced formulation ensures reliable retention while allowing easy and clean removal of excess cement.

The ideally balanced elasticity of TempoSIL 2 enables trouble-free cleanup after setting, making it highly convenient for chairside use. For enhanced esthetics, TempoSIL 2 is available in two shades—white and dentin—allowing better shade matching in provisional restorations.

Packaging :

• 2 × 11 g Smartmix syringes
• 15 × mixing tips

Direction to Use :

• Gently dry the prepared tooth surface using oil-free compressed air; do not overdry
• Clean and dry the internal surface of the restoration
• Remove and discard the syringe plug
• Extrude a small amount of material onto a tissue until base and catalyst are evenly dispensed
• Wipe excess material from the syringe orifice
• Attach the mixing tip and lock it with a 90° clockwise twist
• Apply TempoSIL 2 directly into the provisional restoration
• Seat the restoration with slight pressure and hold undisturbed for 30–60 seconds
• After setting, remove excess cement using a suitable instrument
• Disinfect the used mixing tip and store the syringe with the tip attached

Clinical Steps – Provisional Restorations :

• Apply TempoSIL 2 directly into the restoration using the oral tip
• Seat the restoration with gentle pressure
• Hold in position for 30–60 seconds
• Remove excess cement after setting
• Provisional restoration securely cemented

Clinical Steps – Implant Abutments & Bridges :

• Position the implant abutments
• Apply TempoSIL 2 directly into the restoration using the oral tip
• Seat the zirconia restoration with gentle pressure
• Remove excess cement after setting
• Zirconia restoration securely cemented
