SuperEndo Finishing Files 20/04 are designed as the final instrumentation step before obturation to efficiently clean canal walls and remove residual dentinal debris. These plastic rotary finishing files feature a unique offset flute design that agitates sodium hypochlorite and dislodges remaining debris without further enlarging the prepared canal.

Even with advanced NiTi rotary systems and the use of NaOCl and EDTA, debris often remains on dentinal walls due to complex canal morphology and areas untouched by centered rotary files. While sonic and ultrasonic activation can address this issue, they are not always adopted due to additional cost, setup time, or equipment requirements. SuperEndo Finishing Files provide a simple, cost-effective alternative to achieve enhanced chemo-mechanical cleaning.

Direction to Use :

• The Finishing File should be the last file used before obturation.
• Fill the canal with sodium hypochlorite prior to placement.
• Insert the Finishing File into an electric slow-speed handpiece set at 700–900 rpm.
• Set the working length using a rubber stopper.
• Place the file passively into the canal and work circumferentially along dentinal walls using gentle axial (up-and-down) motion.
• Use the file for approximately 30 seconds.
• Flush the canal with sodium hypochlorite and dry prior to obturation or intracanal medicament placement.
• Discard the file after single-tooth use.

Caution :

• Do not bind the Finishing File inside the canal, as this may cause torsional fracture.
• If breakage occurs, the fragment can be removed using a heated element.
