3M Unitek Transbond MIP (Moisture Insensitive Primer) is a hydrophilic bonding primer designed for use in moist clinical environments without compromising bond strength. A single coat applied to an etched tooth surface—even in the presence of water or saliva contamination—helps simplify and speed up the bonding procedure.

Laboratory testing and clinical evaluations with Transbond™ XT Light Cure Adhesive have shown that Transbond MIP Primer can provide bond strength in moist conditions comparable to conventional primers used on dry surfaces.
