The GC Capsule Applier III is designed for use with all GC encapsulated glass ionomer products, enabling easy and precise dispensing of mixed material directly into the tooth preparation. It pre-activates the capsule and delivers controlled extrusion, improving efficiency and accuracy during restorative procedures.

The applier features a lightweight, ergonomic design for fatigue-free handling. It is fully autoclavable and easy to clean, making it suitable for routine clinical use.

Key Specifications :

Cleaning :

• Clean the applier using gauze soaked in alcohol

Sterilization :

• Autoclavable at 121–134°C (250–273°F) for 10–30 minutes (excluding heat-up time)
• Follow the autoclave manufacturer’s instructions
• Chemical disinfectants or sterilants are not recommended, as they may damage the applier

Safety Information :

• Sterilize the applier prior to use
• Do not use on patients with known metal allergies
• Operators with metal allergies should not handle the applier
• Discontinue use and consult a physician in case of allergic reaction
• Avoid placing fingers between the lever and grip during operation

Direction to Use :

I. Capsule Loading :

• After triturating, remove the capsule from the amalgamator
• Insert and secure the capsule into the capsule holder
• Note: The capsule cannot be inserted if the plunger is extended
• Retract the plunger by pressing the release button before inserting the capsule

II. Extruding the Material :

• Direct the capsule nozzle toward the prepared tooth surface
• Perform two priming strokes with the lever
• Make the third and fourth strokes slowly to allow smooth and controlled dispensing

III. Removal of the Capsule :

• Press the release button to retract the plunger
• Remove the used capsule by twisting it clockwise and pulling upwards
