DPI Pinnacle Impression Compound

DPI Pinnacle Impression Compound is a dental impression material specially formulated for making preliminary impressions in complete denture procedures. It provides excellent handling characteristics and reliable dimensional stability, making it suitable for routine prosthodontic applications.

The compound softens uniformly on heating and can be easily manipulated to record accurate tissue details. Once set, it forms a rigid and tear-resistant impression that maintains its shape, allowing models to be poured even up to two weeks after impression making.

Composition :

  • Resin
  • Copal resin
  • Carnauba wax
  • Stearic acid
  • Talc
  • Colouring agent

Indications :

  • Preliminary impressions in edentulous cases

  • Softens at approximately 60°C

Packaging :

  • Pack containing 5 cakes

Direction to Use :

  • Soften the impression compound in a hot water bath at 55–60°C for 4–5 minutes
  • Place gauze at the bottom of the water bath to prevent sticking
  • Knead the softened compound thoroughly
  • Load into the impression tray and place against oral tissues
  • Allow the material to set until it becomes a rigid mass before removal
