Pulpdent Prep-Rite RC Kit
Prep-Rite RC is a viscous 15% EDTA gel buffered to a neutral pH, specially formulated to assist during root canal instrumentation and debridement. It contains peroxide to provide a gentle effervescing action and features a lubricating consistency that allows it to be easily picked up on endodontic files.
During root canal preparation, Prep-Rite RC acts as an effective calcium-binding agent to decalcify canal walls while lubricating instruments to minimize file binding and separation. Being water-based, it rinses out easily with standard irrigation protocols.

Direction to Use
- Always isolate the tooth with a rubber dam.
- Remove the cap from the syringe.
- Dispense Prep-Rite RC onto a mixing pad. For controlled dispensing, hold the syringe barrel with fingertips, place the plunger in the palm, and gently pull back with fingers.
- Recap the syringe immediately after use.
- Dip the endodontic file into the Prep-Rite RC gel; the gel adheres easily to the file.
- Instrument the canal and irrigate in the usual manner.
- Reapply Prep-Rite RC and repeat as needed until the canal is enlarged and shaped as desired.
- Rinse the canal thoroughly after completion.
