Ammdent Prep Canal is an EDTA-based chelating agent formulated to support effective root canal preparation. EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a polyamino carboxylic acid that reacts with calcium ions in dentine to form soluble calcium chelates, aiding in the removal of calcifications and smear layer from the root canal system.
