Voco Provicol Temporary Cement

Voco Provicol is a proven temporary cement supplied in a convenient hand-mix version. It is designed for reliable temporary luting and temporary fillings, offering secure adhesion combined with easy removal when required.

The semi-elastic properties of Provicol ensure safe retention of temporary restorations, while its eugenol-free formulation minimizes the risk of allergic reactions. The inclusion of calcium hydroxide provides a bacteriostatic effect and supports the formation of secondary dentine, making Provicol especially suitable prior to definitive adhesive luting with resin cements.

• Temporary luting of inlays, onlays, crowns, partial crowns, bridges, attachments, and posts
• Temporary filling of small cavities

Packaging :

• 1 × 25 g base tube
• 1 × 25 g catalyst tube

Direction to Use :

• Use Provicol at room temperature (approx. 18°C–23°C)
• Lower temperatures (e.g. cooled glass plate) will extend working time
• Mix base and catalyst in a 1:1 weight ratio
• Dispense equal lengths of base and catalyst onto a mixing pad or glass plate
• Mix for approximately 20 seconds until a homogeneous consistency is achieved
• Use a plastic or stainless steel spatula for mixing
• For a softer mix and extended working time, add a small amount of vaseline
• For a harder and faster-setting material, add zinc oxide (for temporary sealing)
