How Hemosponge Works
The spongy structure of Hemosponge provides an ideal surface for thrombocytes from oozing blood. This promotes thrombocyte aggregation and the release of coagulation factors, acting as a catalyst for fibrin formation and activating the blood coagulation cascade.
